Green industry businesses can’t find workers, and workers can’t find a good job. How can both of these statements be true?
My name’s Daniel Fuller. I’m the host of the Plants Grow Here podcast, as well as a qualified horticulturist and maintenance gardener of 10 years. My podcast is in the top 2.5% of podcasts worldwide and some of the guests I’ve worked with have represented the Australian Institute of Horticulture, Landscaping Victoria (Master Landscapers) and the Australian Parliament House.

He had to drop dozens of clients, because nobody had applied to the job.
And yet, I know from experience and from speaking with workers in our industry that it’s hard to find a job on the big job boards. I believe that’s because they aren’t targeted to our industry.
