We are seeking a full-time SEQ Coordinator to join our team based at our Glendenning office supporting our NSW and QLD operations (Glendenning, Hornsby, Chippendale, Woodridge).

The successful candidate must have a willingness to work in the field as well as behind a computer. The ability to enforce through influence is key to being successful in this role. 

We want someone who is able to provide great service to our internal stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes.

You must have a current driver’s license and be able to commute to different work locations in Greater Sydney and travel irregularly to QLD.

As a member of the SEQ Team and reporting to the Group SEQ Manager, you will be responsible for driving safety, environment, and quality systems and practices by:

  • Support the management of the SEQ Management Systems at each of the NSW & QLD depots
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to leaders and managers
  • Perform incident reporting and investigations
  • Conduct site inspections and audits
  • Administer Worker’s Compensation claims
  • Provide sound SEQ advice and support as required
  • Support the development and delivery of SEQ information and communication
  • Delivery of inductions, training, and assessments, as required
  • Collection and collation of SEQ data, with the ability to interpret and provide improvement recommendations

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role balancing both field and administration requirements
  • Preferred Diploma in WHS or higher level OHS qualification
  • Training and Assessment qualification (advantageous)
  • Excellent time management, organisational and administration skills
  • Relationship-building skills, including the ability to partner with managers and employees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A vehicle allowance is payable but must have access to your own vehicle
