The role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Horticulturist, Hardscape to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and develop our horticultural collections and displays, as well as heritage and contemporary hard landscape assets and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop staff while managing resources and budgets.
- Implement WHS policies and oversee safe work practices.
- Plan and supervise horticulture, landscape maintenance and development activities.
- Provide technical advice on horticultural and landscape maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records for hard landscaping assets.

What you will bring to the role
- Proven team leadership experience with the ability to develop and manage a diverse team.
- Extensive experience in hard landscape development, including the construction of retaining walls and paving.
- Proficiency in using landscape construction plant and equipment.
- Strong self-management skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A passion for horticulture and a commitment to maintaining and enhancing the beauty and heritage of our gardens.
- Ability to lift 15kgs
What is an essential requirement:
- Horticultural trades certificate or equivalent qualifications in landscape construction, or equivalent experience.
- Current driver’s license with the ability to operate manual vehicles.
