Position – Maintenance Labourer

Area of Work: Whittlesea City Council 

Hours: Full-time

Are you great with people, plants and machinery? Do you also love nature, working outdoors, have an eye for detail and a passion for the industry? Then we want to hear from you!

We are looking for new full-time staff to join UDL Group and begin our new contract in Whittlesea, you will provide a high standard of garden maintenance to our client.

As a valued team member, you will assist our gardeners and Grounds Persons and be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Removing and filling earth and flora/planting
• General gardening tasks;
• Brush-cutting/hedging
• Weeding
• Unloading building materials
• Use of hand tools and or light machinery
• Digging trenches or similar
• Watering
• Chemical spraying

To be successful, what you will need: 

• Construction Induction Card (Essential) 
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence (Essential)
• Traffic Management Certificate (Optional)
• Strong commitment to safe work practices
• Be physically fit and love working outdoors 
• Ability to build strong professional relationships with clients 
• Be Reliable, punctual and hard working
