Position: Tractor Operator 

Area of Work:  Whittlesea Council 

Hours: Full-Time

We are seeking a new team member to work on a new maintenance contract in the Whittlesea region.  Maintenance is about understanding systems, solving problems, and making a lasting impact! 

As a valued team member, you will be based out of our Epping Depot and be responsible for daily mowing mowing/slashing/ mechanical edging along with herbicide and Fertiliser applications. Utilizing our wide area mowers, out fronts and zero turns you will become a vital part of our team with your daily tasks including (but not limited to):

• Tractor Operations 
• Mowing/Slashing (ride on mower operation)
• Picking up litter
• Edging
• Brush-cutting
• Weeding;
• Fertilising
• Chemical spraying

To be successful, what you will need: 

• Current Victorian Drivers Licence (essential).
• Medium Rigid Truck Licence (desired).
• Construction Induction Card/White Card (essential).
• Chemical Certificate (desired). 
• Certificate III in Horticulture or similar (desired).
• Traffic Management (desired).
• Experience in commercial mowing/ Open Space work (preferred but not essential for right candidate)
• Strong commitment to Our “Safety first,always “  practices
• Be physically fit and love working outdoors 
• Ability to build strong professional relationships with team members 
• A Can do attitude
• Pride in your daily work outcome
