Garden Maintenance

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Casual to perform Garden Maintenance Work to assist with the
upkeep of client gardens. The successful candidate will perform various gardening tasks, ensuring that
landscaped areas are well-maintained and presentable.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular mowing and trimming of grass areas.
• Manage weeds through hand-pulling and herbicide application as needed.
• Conduct general tidying of garden beds, including debris removal.
• Assist in pest and disease management.
• Apply mulch and other materials to garden beds when required.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure the safe use of maintenance equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team and assist colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in garden maintenance or bush care is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to operate basic garden maintenance tools and equipment.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Availability:
• Flexible to work during varying days.

Essential Criteria:
• Suitable qualification: Level 2 or 3 Horticulturist or bush regeneration.
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 kg.
• Chemical application certificate
• Must have own transport.
