We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the delivery of estate maintenance works and lead daily operations across multiple sites. This is a high-impact leadership position, ideal for someone with a strong background in estate grounds maintenance and team management.

Based at our Epping office, this pivotal management position will provide hands-on support to our maintenance operations staff as we enter an exciting period of growth in business. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening both internal and external stakeholder relationships while ensuring the seamless delivery of maintenance works across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for UDL Group’s estate maintenance operations across Victoria, overseeing internal teams, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Oversee the execution of maintenance contracts, ensuring all services are delivered to specification, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards

  • Implement and manage UDL Group’s internal quality control systems, ensuring full compliance with maintenance programs and contractual obligations

  • Prepare and present monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports, offering insights into financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Actively contribute to the senior leadership team, supporting the continued growth and reputation of the business through a strong focus on client satisfaction and operational excellence

  • Coordinate with the Fleet & Asset Manager to ensure timely preventative maintenance and operational readiness of vehicles and equipment

  • Ensure that daily pre-start (toolbox) meetings are conducted consistently, fostering a culture of safety, communication, and preparedness among all site teams

  • Provide training and mentorship to staff as required, ensuring they are inducted and well informed for their respective positions

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance or grounds management position (5 years minimum)

  • A Diploma or Degree in Landscaping/Horticulture (or similar)

  • Current Victorian Driver’s License

  • Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)

  • Sound technical knowledge of horticulture, landscape and grounds maintenance techniques and WHS practices

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage on-site teams

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Ability to manage multiple site logistics, staff members, and priorities in a dynamic environment

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and excellent organizational and time management capabilities
